- Kev K Review added: 2018.01.26★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Bloody disgraceful. My poor mum of 87yo struggled down to Portsmouth to order a new freezer. They took her money and told her it would be delivered tomorrow (02/11/17). I was phoned at 3pm at work with her crying and stressed out that it hadn't turned up yet. She had phoned some numbers on the receipt with no luck, you know, the usual hard to understand people? I couldn't help till after work. When I got round there at 4.3 it still hadn't turned up. On the receipt it stated the delivery time was between 7am and 6pm. Nobody told my mum and if they had they would of realize that my mum is not in the condition to understand in fact she has dementia, angina, depression and not to mention very very frail and scrunched up. Now, it is in my opinion that Argos are NOT OAP friendly or even helpful to the old and needy. Be aware of this people. Oh, the freezer turned up at 6pm, they left my poor mum waiting for 13 hours crying, stressing and in a pretty poor state. Shame on you Argos your not worth a light and I'll be buggered if I ever shop with you again.
