- Alan Jones Review added: 2018.06.27★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Went to Sids for my usual cut and found that although the price for OAP was still £7.00 (good value for money) it was £8.00 for a blade cut between 1 and 4.!!! I would imagine that to cut your hair at the going rate ot £7.00 was more time consuming - therefore not cost effective - so a blade 1-4 takes less time and certainly a lot quicker but costs and extra £1.00 !!!! In my humble opinion a rip off - which is the way of the UK these days , so much so that they can produce a TV program about rip offs. !!! That aside i found the floor was covered in cut hair all around and nobody sweeping the mess up. I for one will stop going now and go the hairdresser on Milton road near to Andrews grocers especially as there is no extra charge for a blade 1 - 4 cut. Not good enough Sid. !!!
